Redbird Church is a unique family oriented Bible-based church where traditional values and contemporary relevance come together in a loving balance.
We are a new and growing fellowship of Christians in West San Antonio, Texas that strives to be an Authentic, Christ-absorbed, Compassionate community. We desire the Love of God, and his Grace to be lived and shown to others through us.
We aren't affiliated with any particular denomination—and that's probably a good thing, because we really don't fit in the typical mold that most people think of when they see the word "church". For example, while we strongly affirm God’s Word, we strongly oppose any sort of structure or programming that distracts from our relationships with God and with each other. (So if you're looking for a highly organized machine with lots of meetings and subcommittees and a pile of expectations placed on you from the top down, Redbird is definitely not what you're looking for.)
But… If you're looking for community of believers who have been stunned by the grace of God, who are absorbed in His love, who enjoy sharing and celebrating life together, and who are willing to allow God to use them in any way He sees fit, well then we just might be a fit. |
