The Redbird girls had an adventurist slumber party that included a Ranger run though the ranch.

Redbird's Teen Ministries is for kids from sixth to twelfth grade. The youth group is built on personal relationships with friends, teambuilding activities and experiences, and encourages above all things, a dynamic personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Word of God.

The Youth Ministry is lead by Jamie Herring.

 

Jamie and her husband Joe Herring have attended Red Bird for a little over a year. Jamie graduated Taft High School in 2004 and is currently teaching piano two days a week, and attending UTSA for her Bachelor's Degree in Business. Think she has enough on her plate? Think again! She has recently taken charge of the youth ministry and is fresh and excited to lead the bible studies, lessons and fellowship.  Equipped with teaching experience, love of working with kids young and old, and a heart for youth ministries and sharing God’s word, she is ready to take on the world! …   Or at least the Red Bird Youth Group.

Todd Hillard and Pam Garner have also stepped up to help with the youth with teaching and herding kids.

(It’s ok to come a little hungry— the kids can grab a light supper or snacks while here.) Jamie and her teaching team strive to make the journey for our youth through God's Word to be practical, entertaining, and to lay a foundation for a lifetime of Christ centered, grace oriented, biblically-based living.
